Well I started this blog in September 2009 and by April 2010 I was in the best shape of my life! Now here I am again fatter than ever and feeling like crap. I've decided that this needs to become a lifestyle and I need to conquer my demon called alcohol. It hasn't been a good 2012/2013 year for my physically, emotionally or financially and my friend alcohol is to blame. So now I'm saying goodbye to my friend alcohol who has been dragging me through the mud and I'm picking myself up, wiping the mud off and starting over again.
I never posted pictures of how I looked in April 2010 so I'm doing that now as a reminder of what I can do, and what I can look like!! It's hard to put myself out there to strangers, but if I can help motivate one person it will be worth it.

- A little bit about me. I've wanted to compete in a figure/bikini competition for over 10 years but either I've gotten pregnant, gotten my body into fighting shape - but only to gain all the weight back again, or I've just been to plain scared to actually do it! I know - I'm full of excuses! I just turned 33 and I'm so mad at myself that I'm not living the dream I've always wanted to. I can preach the story to others but I sure haven't been living it! How long can I continue to be a hypocrite?! So, here I begin my fitness transformation (and YES, I'm having a hell of a time getting the motivation to eat right, and workout). So I've started this blog to hopefully inspire others, and to diary my progress, thoughts, feelings, accomplishments. I'm looking forward to finally doing what I've talked about all these years, and I hope to inspire others to reach for theirs as well.
